Wanting to go google images of dinosaurs and their size comparison to humans and each other. I kind of got a thing for size comparison charts of big animals, both real and fictional. :)

The mesozoic (age in which dinosaurs lived) breaks down in to the Triassic, Jurassic, and the Cretaceous. In that chronological order. Dinos got their start in the Triassic, and didn't get super big until the Jurassic. Most of the well known show-stealing dinos were of the later Jurassic or Cretaceous. In fact most of the dinosaurs that figure in "Jurassic Park" were actually of the Cretaceous. But there were interesting creatures of the unsung Triassic nonetheless.

First, my ignorance. Then, after reading your explanation, trilobites.

Trilobites died out before the Triassic!

Third, back to my ignorance.

Several of my former supervisors, who definitely qualified as carnivorous dinosaurs. I'll let our paleontological experts suggest the most appropriate species, being momentarily too lazy to search online :-)

I'll level with you. I know nothing about the Triassic. I first thought of a butt with three cheeks, and wondered if it would have two a××holes.
