Spring. To me, it is the start of warm weather. Plus I love seeing all the pretty flowers.

Spring for me, too! Nice weather, flowers, new life and the tennis clay court season with Rafael Nadal!

Winter, because snow's quiet.

Spring is my favourite as the seabirds, particularly the auks, are starting to arrive back at their breeding colonies in large numbers.

The seasons of the year...the question touches on a somewhat longer story for me.... But I will leave that out for now I think, as it may not be proper to bring it into this thread and simply say that my favourite season is spring!

One simple reason is that after december and christmas, the wintermonths can feel so everlasting and cold and I start to long for warmer weather. Therefore spring is so welcomed that I appreciate it a bit more than summer simply for that reason(but maybe also that with summer the mosquitos become more plentiful here ;) ). The first green colours in the forest and grassfields...it is so nice to see it happen! So of course spring is wonderful because it brings the bumblebees, daffodilles, flowerbuds and green green green colours everywhere! Pure joy! :)
But I also enjoy christmastime very much and have to say it is a favourite time of the year for me too, even if it is cold and just like many other people I do like a white christmas. Snow is of course very beautiful! The problem is me and my sensitivity to cold temperatures...

Fall, because that means cold weather is right around the corner and I much prefer that, to the oppressing heat of summer, around here.

For me it's Winter. Because it's cold and I like cold weather. No bugs and insects. Because I freaking hate bugs. And also it's the laziest season of the year.

I live in Florida by the beach, it's pretty nice year round. We get cool breezes off the ocean to keep it from being blazing hot. In fact, it can get pretty cold in the winter... I have had to scrape ice off my truck a few times this winter.
