Anyone like those? So much peace and beauty in one place.

I wasn't a tea drinker until I stumbled on to one of these places last year.

Total relaxation as you sip tea and eat little sandwiches and scones with English cream.

The tea ladies pick your choices after you tell them your preferences. Soothing music.

Contrast that to Starbucks with all the noise and smells.

I've never been to a tea room, but it sounds very nice and peaceful, unlike the popular coffee shops that can get very noisy and crowded, and I prefer tea over coffee anyway. I'd like to go to one with my mother someday.

I love tea rooms, but if you live in the UK nowhere's quiet and peaceful because chavvy mothers with screaming toddlers always seem to find their way to the most quiet places, and it's quiet no more.

I don't like tea too much-----but I could drink grenadine

I love them. Used to go almost daily when I was in college. Much better atmosphere than most coffee shops.

I don't like English type tea rooms but love Japanese style ones. When I lived in d.c. there was a place called "teaism" I loved. Koi swimming around in great big indoor pools and lovely Japanese food and tea. I loved that place. I loved d.c. and my work there....Lifetimes ago.
