I wake up every forty five minutes during the night. Sometimes can't fall asleep at all. Took some sleeping pills, and they didn't work. What do you do? Did anyone ever have this problem?

I would talk to a doc if this is a regular occurrence. There's meds other than sleeping pills that are used to help people sleep & there may be a medical reason for not sleeping. Like med your on or something.

I had that exact problem when I got out of the hospital many years ago, was probably due to all the anxiety...I just worked my way through it, and eventually it went away.

As far as falling asleep, sometimes transcendental meditation helps.

I can't speak for your condition, though.
