On the way home, I stopped by a local Walmart and as I was placing things in my car, some NT in a huge pickup paused next to me while he was holding up his phone to shoot photos and/or video. The NT asked if he could take my photo, but addressed as Sir !

I was dressed in Just My Size women's jeans, a bikini top to be modest with my breasts being covered while wearing as little as possible since my car does not have air conditioning and the inside temp was easily 135F

I responded by shouting NO which was immediately followed by colorful language that would violate forum rules.

How do I need to be dressed or at what level of undress do I need for NTs to see that they are talking to a gal ?

Obviously, this has my mood some what Grumbly

Based on this one situation, at a walmart no less, it seems apparent that the NT species is gender blind when it comes to AS people. Further research must be conducted to see what can be done about this.

Since this thread is ultimately on appearance and a NT dude wanting photos, here is my photo

Image

I know I'm not a beach babe, but it pisses me off that the blank mistook me for a guy while wearing a bikini top.

Thank you kraftiekortie, you can see why I'm baffled by anyone wanting a photo of me wearing a bikini while politely asking as they say "Sir..."

I’d just forget about that guy, if I were you. Probably a creep, anyway.

:? Who knows what he was thinking.

Is it normal for anyone to be referred to as sir where you are?

It's not used here apart from the army, and the police use it when they think someones being a w***er.

Good points, it didn't even occur to me to question why he was being a bit formal, it just rubbed me wrong that he used Sir over M'am. He may have be stationed at the near by Sheppard Air Force base.

Looks like he wanted to take a photo for People of Walmart. After all it is Wal Mart where people go and take photos of anything unusual.
