Do you get kinda scared when you see bad news?

Well, I try to avoid seeing disasters, accidents, etc. But upon watching the news today I have seen cars crashed in traffic and something like 2 or 3 killed in the accident.
I got kinda scared and upset about it.
Do you too, when you see bad news?
I don't mean as if you can't eat or sleep, but to a smaller extent.

Only when it's about rape, terrorism, natural disasters, arson, car accidents, foods that are poisoned, war, an outbreak of a deadly disease, or Trump. Which of course is 99% of it. And 80% of it is that last one.

Yeah, I can agree with some of the statements here, especially that most part of the news is considered "bad".
But there are always some positive news, but a very small percentage of the whole news program is positive.

It's only scary to me if it's something bad/ dangerous that could happen to me or my loved ones.

And news about culling our already too small wolf population, killing of 'illegal' turtles, or other bad animal or environment news are very upsetting. The state of plastics in water, climate change and 6th mass extinction are also really scary.

Other than that, I am very indifferent.
