Do you prefer Peanut Butter or Nutella ?

I'm Australian, so - Vegemite.

The first time I heard about vegemite I was buying bread from a man in Brussels , he was six-foot-four and full of muscles , I said, "do you speak-a my language?" he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich

i would like some *sandwich spread *

I use to really like sandwich spread but went off it , sandwich spread weirdly reminds me of sandwich paste & toast toppers

Nutella is not really "nasty" like I said in the other thread.

Its just not as user friendly as peanut butter.

Never even heard of Nutella until I noticed it on the same four foot section at Giant as peanut butter (this only a few years ago- you can get to middle age in the USA without even knowing about Nutella). So I gave it try, as both an alternative to, and as sumpin to mix with peanut butter on the same piece of bread. Its hard to spread, and you cant get much of on a slice of bread, and on top of that I probably unconsciously expected it to taste like how it looks (chocolate flavored peanut butter), and it doesn't taste like that. And my girlfriend says she hates the stuff. So I lost interest in it.

Defiantly Peanut Butter. i also really like peanut-butter with chocolate like Reese's stuff.

Nutella or pretty much any equivalent.

I used to buy Nutella sometimes and spread marshmallow fluff over it to make it like s'mores. Mmmm, fattening.

But ever since I saw that stupid commercial where a mother claims that it only has "a hint of cocoa" when Nutella is really VERY chocolately, and she's spreading it on bread for her teenage son who is clearly old enough to do it on his own, and her stupid-sounding voice, especially the way she answers her son's homework question, I've pretty much lost my liking for the stuff. Now it's always peanut butter, or nothing.

Sounds like you might have had a faulty batch , Nutella drips off the knife



I just noticed it's made by Ferrero , I wonder if that's what is in the middle of Ferrero Rocher ?

Crunchy soy nut butter, for the win for people with nut allergies! (I wish there was a variety with less added cane sugar where I live, but beggars can't be choosers.)



I can't eat peanuts and hazelnuts so I can't eat either option in the poll, but almond butter is also quite good. If I weren't allergic though I have a feeling I would prefer natural peanut butter to something like Nutella, which sounds unhealthy and fattening with the added ingredients.
