Well, I hate captchas when they're overused but otherwise the reason I don't like them is because they're so repetitive and boring. Buses. Cars. Zebra crossings. Traffic lights. Same old. Same old. Can't we have some captchas that vary a bit? How about captchas for:

planets
tv shows
monsters
celebs
submarines

How about a captcha that asks:

Check every atomic explosion.

I mean, c'mon guys, if you're going to put us through this abuse, at least use a little imagination.

I dislike them because they are apparently a wormhole.

First, I'm old, and the images are TINY. So I am never sure I've found every submicroscopic car that might be lurking in them.

Second, even when I put on my superglasses and am sure I did it right, all I get is more captchas.

Third, even when I go back and take out every scrap of BBCode and every single image, it continues, which tells me that there is no, repeat no, discretion in the thing. Once flagged, there is no fix and no appeal, apparently.

"I'm not a robot"

I understand that we need them in order to prevent bots from spamming the hell out of this forum & other sites. However they should be easy for people to solve. Instead the 1s on this site are a pain in the ass. For example I'm supposed to click on all the signs. A small part of the sign or the poll is in another square so I click on both & that tiny piece doesn't count as a sign. How the f#ck is anyone supposed to know when a piece will count or not count

^^^ I recently figured out that for the Kaptchas:

* a traffic light is the lights only (ooo) without the pole holding it !
* if a square contains a tiny border of the "bycicle" or whatever it is, this border does "usually" not count

If only Captchas could give clearer instructions...
