A lady from Ghana (a country in West Africa) sold these to me at the Flea Market. I think they look very cool. 8)

They carry tools in their hands and have their babies wrapped in cloth around their backs.

Nice.

I had some Guatemalan worry dolls.
I can't find them now.
It's a worry.

I actually have one of those too! :D It's attached to a woven bookmark my Mama gave to me after she went to Guatemala. I also have some woven bracelets she gave me that she bought while she was there.

Maybe I'll post a picture of them too.

Cool. I like handcrafted folk art from around the world. It's a neat little insight into other cultures as well as a small way to support the livelihoods of people from less fortunate countries whenever you buy some of it. 8)

I agree :) I also have some Japanese porcelain figurines that belonged to my Grandmother and she bought them when she used to live in Japan and they were given to me after she passed away. My favorites are the Geishas. :)

I also have some cheap Asian pottery I bought from Goodwill and an authentic peice of Navajo Native American pottery that I spent way too much money on.
