Denying evolution is one thing. But denying climate change is dangerous.

Denying evolution is not dangerous?

One of the secrets of right-wing Republican electoral success; if you can convince beyond the shadow of doubt a relatively sane, intelligent, and well-educated adult that the Earth is only 6,000 years old and the reason the dinosaurs went extinct is because they were too big to fit on Noah's Ark based upon a book prefaced by a story of a talking snake with a magic apple in an enchanted garden...you can convince them of anything, no matter how utterly preposterous.

Evolution is not hurting the environment, threatening lives and something that needs to be worked towards stopping. When climate change is denied, less is being done about it.

Agreed; one is merely stupid, the other is a positive danger, particularly when it's powerful men involved.

Well no, evolution is not doing that. But denying and/or failure to understand evolution leads to things like anti-vaxxers, multi-resistant bacteria and the continued extermination of crucial species. In fact, failing to understand evolution is likely to lead to further climate change, and without understanding evolution we're unlikely to be able to halt/reverse it.

Well, I guess I'm a dangerous person then because I think the whole climate thing is a total hoax.
