Anyone else has codes instead of keys for front doors?

Goddammit I've never hated 'modern' technology as much as this s**t and the f*****g sadistic excuse of a property management company who has changed it for the zillionth time. "Oh, what is that, you just finally remembered the previous one by reminding yourself of the year before the moon landing? Well, take a sniff of this new one!" - I'm assuming they didn't literally go like that, but something similar. >.<

And guess why they changed it? Oh, because apparently some strangers got hold of it (or someone let them in, no one really knows) and decided the staircase should be partied in, I guess like staircases are usually partied in, and besides the absolutely unbearable noise they made, they left so much trash that simply stood there for about a week. But how the heck will this prevent some resident from giving it out again? Guess what's not as easy to give out? A key! Who could have predicted this! But no, management companies officially want to make it harder for residents and easier for strangers.

Ive got code locks on everything, at home and work. It really doesn't make any difference if you think about it. Keys or codes are both easily shared. What you can't fix is other people's stupidity. Sorry about that. I hate it when other people get to make my life harder too.

I really want one actually because of my dyspraxia. This sounds stupid but I can't lock the main front door to my parents' house.

If that was possible I'd take it haha.

Also my own door sucks because it has half glass and people think it's a good idea to tap at the glass and it makes the whole cabin shake.
