in nightclubs/bars what does it mean exactley if bouncers 'dont like the look of you'

Not necessarily. They go more off mannerisms that time and time again have served as an early indicator of someone who could be a threat to the patrons. It can be paranoia, but that just comes with the huge responsibility placed on them.

Last night one of my friends was s**t faced on drugs and alcohol and not dressed smartly and the bouncers were friendly too him. I on the hand was dressed smartly and sober yet the doormen were ruder too me than they were too my friend.

I imagine I would stick out like a sore thumb at such places. They make me feel really uncomfortable.

It means that the bouncer doesn't have to accuse you of doing anything wrong

The bouncer can just get a bad feeling about you

The bouncer could be racist

As long as the bouncer doesn't tell a racist statement, the bouncer can still tell you to leave the bar. For any reason or no reason. Just no discrimination
