I like it, but not enough to buy it.

Correct lyrics

"I smell sex and candy here".

Misheard as:

"I smell sacks of candy here".

"I smell sex and candlelit hair".

Always thought it was about a guy who comes home- and finds that his girl has been doing the nasty with another guy ( her lover brought her a Whitman's Sampler and then did the nasty with her). The other man is gone but the smells in the apartment tells the story.

That's just from the title.

Just now listened to it on U Tube. The song doesn't add much to the story beyond whats already in the title, and I might be misinterpreting the title. And the song has that droning and moping sound that Nineties rock had, that's tedious to listen to.

Maybe someone can expand upon what the song is about in order for me to appreciate it more.

He says “mama,” so I thought it was about catching his mum. I thought it would be a bit weird if it was.

Mama doesn't mean anything. I knew a guy who would hit on women by saying "Yo Mama"

Meh. 1998 was such a let down musically compared to 1997

Mom I'm dyin'
I'm dizzy and fryin'
My throat hurts
I think I should stay in bed

Cause I got some kind of disease
And there are no remedies
Think I should stay in bed today
Maybe tomorrow go out and play
It's Saturday

With Ginseng
And fresh squeezed juice
Of wheat-grass
Oh, and some hot chicken soup
That just might keep me alive
A couple days

But I've got some kind of disease
And there are no remedies
Think I'll join Timothy Leary
In a cryogenic freeze
Next Saturday

Yeah I've got some kind of disease
And there are no remedies
Should a listened when you said beware
Of horny girls with New Jersey hair
Last Saturday
