Are you counting humans as animals?

I have been bitten by cats and a dog. And a few humans, too.

Human beings are animals; but I would bet he was referring to nonhuman animals.

I think I’ve been bitten by more human than nonhuman animals.

Innumerable insects and arachnids, a few snakes, some rodents, an assortment of dogs and cats, and my ex-wife.

I’ve been bitten by at least four humans, two cats, play biting from puppies (doesn’t really count), and numerous insects.

Three or five dogs, two cats, about two ducks, one goat (I think), insects and one bird, which I let bite me sometimes because it can be fun.

If humans count, the boy from next door bit me when I was little, and my nephew used to bite me.

Nope....can't forget about the insects LOL

the worst are the chiggers I got on a hike once.

Mosquitos, probably ticks, bees, wasps, etc.

Kitty cats. Don't recall any dog ever biting me except in play.

No humans I can recall.

A couple of sea anemonies tried to eat me on the shore line of the Big Sur. Little flower sized and flower shaped stationary animals stuck on the rocks exposed at low tide. We would poke em in the mouth , and watch them slowly close their tentacle "petals" trying to "catch" us as if we were bite sized fish. Fun as hell to watch.

Countless insects.
The worst was I got unlucky enough to be bitten by a mosquito-carrying stuff and caught in an epidemic.

Mammals...
Some cats. Also got bitten by a hamster once. Humans... Well, I was once bitten by another kid.
None of them are that bad, but I don't like getting bitten.

And birds. I had it at least twice.

I've been bitten by dogs at least a couple of times as a kid, but most cats only seem to bite when being playful with me.

Once by a pet hamster. They can be vicious little buggers when they bite, too.

Once by a quohog clam. Well, not technically bitten. But once when I was really young my parents had been gathering them at the beach and I was dumb and stuck my finger into one, and it clamped its shell down on my finger. It was very painful and terrifying. I learned my lesson. The next time I used a stick.

Numerous times by mosquitoes, black flies, and horseflies. It's a wonder I didn't get some horrible disease a long time ago. But I've been lucky never to have been bitten by ticks *knocks on wood*. Having to get a nasty, blood-sucking tick pulled out would be the least of my worries.

Thankfully, I've never had a human bite me right through the skin. Human bites are more dangerous than most animal bites. Our mouth are cesspools of filth and can cause a deadly infection. Sometimes I wonder if it's supposed to like Komodo Dragons that kill their prey just by biting them?

Mosquitohawks/Dragonflys (used to catch em as a kid)
Lizards & Geckos (used to catch them too)
Water bugs/beetles (while swimming in our pool)
GuineaPig (while picking pet up)
Chinchillas (while picking pets up)
Cousins Dog (1ce trying to pick him up when he wanted to sleep)
1ce by a bully during a fight

Been stung by bees (trying to grab them)
Been stung by a wasp 1ce in the stomach (I was moving something & couldn't tell there was a nest behind it)
Been pinched by crawfish

-goat (although they prefer headbutting lol)

-that one mule who I will forever hold a grudge against
-pretty much any other animal you can think of that people can legally own
-oh and a couple humans too

(this is what happens when ur an ag major, have multiple pets, and do farm sitting as a summer job )
