I used to go to KFC, but then discovered McDonald's, which is far better IMO.

KFC has gone down in quality in recent years.

I liked them better when they were Kentucky Fried Chicken.

It was never good. I would be hard pressed to give it to a dog.

Even Colonel Sanders was critical of it in his later years, suggesting that they were trying to cut costs.

I've actually been to the original restaurant where Sanders first started serving his original recipe. It's located in Corbin, Ky.

The first KFC to open in the UK was in Preston, Lancashire, around 1965 I think.

In 1971, going to Kentucky Fried Chicken was a rare treat, indeed.

I'm not sure. I don't eat at fast food restaurants.

The fried part seems soggy now. I don't like that. I prefer original recipe, but somehow it feels like it's been soaking in water or something. I wish the Original Recipe came in a crispier texture, or maybe just drier.

the best KFC i ever ate at, was in tijuana mexico back in 1972. it used the "original recipe" which today is hard to find. truly "finger lickin' good!"
