Where I used to live, I remember Childrens Day was a big holiday they let us out of school for. When I moved to the US found out they didn’t celebrate Children’s Day, I was so sad.

What about your country?

And Happy Children’s Day to any kids here. Also to those who are kids at heart. :)

I've never heard of it. But in the UK, Christmas Day might as well be children's day, because of the way everyone I meet says that Christmas is for the children and that childless adults shouldn't take it seriously.

Well over there, Christmas isn’t really a big holiday, so there’s that.

During my research, I also found that the really advanced economies are less likely to celebrate Children’s Day.

People in the US don't say that. Christmas is very huge over here & adults act like rabid beast trempeling each other to death for the best deals & they force themselves to go all to extreme lengths to be nice to family they hate & secretly wish dead.Christmas is NOT for the kids anymore, it's for adults to go crazy.

We don't have Children's Day in Canada, but I've read about it being celebrated in different countries. If you ask your parents why we don't have Children's Day when we have a Mother's Day and Father's Day and even a Groundhog Day, they'll just roll their eyes at you and say, "EVERY day is Children's Day!"

That's what it's like in the UK too. Christmas cards and decorations start appearing in shops the minute Halloween is over, and it's so much in your face that you can't help but give in to it and buy lots of gifts for your loved ones. But, at the same time, everyone still seems to say that it's for children. I hate it when people say that.

Canada doesn't have Children's Day. I wish that it did. Happy Children's Day! :D

I got that from my parents as well. My response was, "Canada should celebrate it, anyways!"

Japan is the only country I've had any awareness of that celebrates children day.

The US tends to care more for the dead than children lol

Children’s day a great holiday ! I have only one kid in my family and You know she’s vet stubborn one and doesn’t want to listen us at all. Even my wife’s got difficulty to control her .. hey boyfriend I can’t stand him but she doesn’t care.. I use this phone tracker https://www.hoverwatch.com to monitor her location in the night to see the places she visits and for me it’s a kinda a good way to be relaxed and not worry if she one day doesn’t come home at all. I can easily find her..
