I am having a very hard time with the bird categories on here. I love sounds. Every time that I reach a new bird level that I do not like the sound of, like right now while I am a pileated woodpecker! I watch and can't wait until it goes away and I like the sound and image of the next bird category I'm in. I also look at what other members are and think, "oh, I can't wait to be X, I like the sound and sight of that."

Some of the fixations are disturbing and ridiculous, yet they exist.

I wanted to stay as some of those birds but within about 2 weeks I posted so much I became a veteran. Spoils the fun!

YES! I very much liked being a Snowy Owl. I look forward to being a Seagull. I am not a fan of Woodpeckers because we live in a Cedar Home. Carpenter Bees bore into the wood to lay their eggs, which pupate and the Woodpeckers try and get them out. Horrible racket! We need to treat the wood again, but it's expensive.

Oooooh. I love seagulls. I loved being a seagull but it didn't last long.

I didn't object to being any of these birds, with the exception of 'tufted titmouse', which I absolutely hated!

Butterflies, Emu Eggs, Deinonychi and Velociraptors aren't actually birds, are they?

Too bad there weren't any feline titles. I'm a dedicated cat lover.

That's true. I'd forgotten not all were birds. It's only the bird one that irritated me so. Tufted Titmouse was another awful one. Glad that one's behind me.

I love cats too.

I'm going to have to keep count now. How many posts till we change birds.

But Pileated Woodpeckers are gorgeous birds. And Tufted Titmice are adorable.

Now, I'm ashamed of myself for judging a book by it's cover (a bird by it's name)!

On a happier note, I've made it to Sea Gull! Woot Woot!

Ah... But what comes next? I won't say... I can't say!! !

Be a seagull for a while. The graceful way they soar through the air...
