Percy pigs are pig shaped and have pig faces and the real ones (not the veggie ones) are made of pork...

So they kill a real pig to make a bunch of imaginary pigs...

I've never heard of Percy Pigs before. That is pretty gross, and I'm not even a vegetarian.

I agree. I'd steer clear of Percy Pigs, too.

I never heard of this before. It makes me think of how people kill elephants so they can make elephant figurines out of their ivory

I looked up Percy Pigs, and it said they're a British brand of real fruit juice gummy candy shaped like pigs. They were originally made with pork gelatin, but now they make a vegetarian variety.

Funny, I thought they were ground pork sculpted to look like pigs, with veggies for the eyes, ears, snouts and tails.
Something like that creepy "meatloaf baby" photo I've seen. It had onion eyes and slabs of bacon for a diaper. 8O

The Canadian version of Percy Pigs is called Juiced Up. I remember once eating some pig-shaped gummy candies. Some of them were shaped like pig butts. It even had a warning on the bag "contains pig butts".
