What is your favorite car? One of mine is the Mazda Miata. After working for 40 years I retired in 2008. I decided to treat myself on that occasion by purchasing my retirement car (the last car I will ever buy). I wanted something fun to drive. Since my kids are grown and raising families of their own, I no longer needed the extra seats. Two seat would work just fine. And I thought just for the fun of it, the car would be a convertible. But not just any convertible, a retractable hardtop convertable. So I went out and purchase a

2008 Mazda Miata – Grand Touring Retractable Hardtop, “Stormy Blue Mica” exterior, Tan Leather interior.

Now I live in the country with many rolling hills, dips and valleys. And this car drives like a go-cart. It hugs the road. I bought it with a 6-speed manual transmission, which is half the fun. It instantly moves without hesitation as quick as I can think. Now the car is 11 years old at this point but it has few miles and looks absolutely new.

When I was a teenage in California, I would visit all the car shows and the hidden dealerships that sold specialty cars. I had the privilege of sitting in a Lotus Elan. The Lotus was design like you were sitting on a recliner. It was almost like you were laying down when you were driving the car. The Mazda Miata was designed around the Lotus Elan.

Pagani Huayra. It is a work of art, inside and out. The sound of its turbos are to die for, complete eargasms.

My favourite car is actually a bus and you're looking at it.

That looks like a cartoon car, especially with the googly eyes in the middle.

My 2005 Honda Accord, because it's been the most dependable car I've ever had.

My current 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The straight 6 cylinder still has plenty of giddy-up approaching 140,000 miles. Top off go anywhere. Sits outside in the hot summer sun and the minus 20 degree winter, never complains when starting.

Before that it was the Elise.
Had sporty cars in my 20s, things are much more sensible these days lol.

Cant describe the effect of watching that on top gear had on me. Kinda like falling in love lol. Wish Clarkson hadn't mucked it up. Cest la vie.
