I think if you get past being the teenage years without anyone realising you have learning difficulties, then the chances of it being picked up on as an adult are very slim.
This,I would say, is very true of those of us who were at school pre the 1990s .

Only one professional ever asked me autism screening questions and that was the one I hired to diagnose me with autism

Plenty of doctors and counselors keep asking Mandated reporter, depression, bipolar and schizophrenia screening questions

Even though autism used to be "childhood schizophrenia" , nobody cares if you are autistic
