I've always loved this time of year for the light displays. Here is a sweet homey one from Billerica, MA. (There was a traffic circle in Watertown with three deciduous trees, when I lived in Waltham. The town lit each tree, trunk and branches, and I'd drive out there with 5-6 other grad/undergrad students packed into the car and go around it a couple times (aspies, rotary motion, it's all good) while we all went, oooOOOOOOOooo. Innocent days. Wish I could find a pic.)
This is Cambridge, MA (I prefer golden-white lights; blue-white is beautiful but cold)
Golden-white, somewhere in South Carolina, and I cannot imagine how many person-hours this took. It's gorgeous.
