I misspell certain words the same way every time, even though I have seen the right way to spell them thousands of times.

Are there othere's here reinventing words their own way unintentionally?

some exaples: mabey, meighty, momorised.

Spellchecker is my friend... I consistently misspell a lot of specific words. I habitually mess up words with multiple double letters in them... things like accommodate.. I always try to make it only have one m. I get the cc right, but forget about the m's... I also try to write things like hello as heelo, or beef as beff. I have to watch out for those as some words, like feel, would not be spotted by spellchecker as fell. On the whole though, I am not a great speller to begin with. There are just some words that for some reason, I seem to think are really spelled a different way than they are.

I misspell & mistype a lot but I have dyslexia which is a fairly common comorbid with autism. My problems with spellcheck is that it often gives me the wrong words or a word that's almost the same spelling as the real word I want & I misread it.
