Talking on a cell phone while driving can be very dangerous. People who talk or text while driving have caused many accidents.

But if it was me I would give a pass to a New South Wales man in Australia. He was charged with talking on a hand-held cellphone while riding a horse. He and the horse were stopped by police after he was seen holding a cellphone to his ear while riding on a rural road in October. The Mudgee Local Court magistrate judge said “under the road rules a horse is a vehicle…and he didn’t have a hands-free device fitted to the horse”.

I've spoken on cell phones driving cars before. A couple of times, I came close to veering into the next lane on a highway, which would have caused an accident had I done so.

It's because you're distracted, doing two things at once.

I don't dive and I don't talk so no worries

My mom hates people who engage in distracted driving. She has come close to engaging in "road rage" incidents whenever she sees someone talking while driving.
