I do it with my partner. It was a compromise to fulfill my need for outdoor movement, and his need to have certain goals to do so. ^^ We either do walking/hiking or cacling tours. No mountains, my partner does not like heights.

I only been doing this a short while but I really enjoy it. Today I found a cache in a small cemetery tucked behind an abandoned foundry just 2 minutes from my door. Never even knew that graveyard was there. Completely isolated and surrounded by overgrowth and trees. This is a small town but I have fun looking around for these little gems.

I have just recently started geocaching with my girlfriend. I find it very fun so far, although there have been a couple of caches we haven't been able to find in spite of a lot of searching. A couple of days ago we took a trip to a nearby town and spent the day looking for caches. There was one frustrating moment, when we realized there was a fisherman sitting on the stone that hid the cache. We had to leave and come back later.

I've been doing it for about five years. A fun way to go out and explore in my opinion. I need to get a new GPS though, mine's going all wonky.

I just got back from finding a couple caches. I like to go out at nite when noone is around but I have been getting asked by police what I am doing scurrying around with my flashlight where noone else is about.

Do you use Geocaching.com or some other site?

Tomorrow night I am going to hang a cache from a grated manhole cover storm drain thing on the far corner of a Walmart parking lot. This town is so small, and not supposed to put caches within like, 500ft of each other, its hard to be creative. There are only so many "interesting" places to put caches I am going to make them work for this one

Necrobumping a thread I found with a search. I was surprised there were only 3 pages of results. Geocaching's great geeky fun that will get you away from this damn keyboard . I've been doing this for years, mostly with my aspie daughter.
