There are many wierd terms used these days. Some are quite confusing.

"Cool" when the thing it is describing is warm.

"Sick". When to me there is nothing wrong with it? It is usually used to describe a car, but the car is running well so it must be a reversed term?

I remember working a train and I approached these young men who had USA accents. One said "What's happening?" So I told them "We are on a train heading towards Swansea. We have just left Burry Port station and the next stop is Llanelli...."
He looked at me daft and said "Say what?" So puzzled I said "What".
He seemed further puzzled and said "Say what" again so I did which they both thought was highly amusing! They liked me! Haha.

But all those wierd terms young peope use! It is as if they have not been taught how to speak english.

And here is something soo odd that I can't fathom what they expect me to do. They show mw something and say "How good is that?"... so I will start examining it to tell them but it is as if they don't want me to tell them?
On the TV they now say "How good is that?" in adverts but they never actually tell you how good it is. They ask the question but never answer it. How do we know how good the thing they are advertizing if they never tell us? They should say "This is good".

And these are strange terms from here in Wales.

"You've cut your hair". No. I did not. My Mum cut it for me.

"She buried her husband". What? With her own hands?

Have you heard any strange terms lately?
