Maybe Don’t Lane Split Going 170 MPH

Gixxer brah averaged 140 mph from Colorado Springs to Denver.

Raw film footage of the whole ride in the article on YouTube. I watched most of it, didn’t give it my full attention. Pretty nuts. Both lane splitting And lane filtering are illegal here so no one does them - well, not legally. Sometimes people do ‘em illegally in the heat of the Summer especially on aircooled bikes when traffic is stopped.. so both the bike and rider don’t overheat and die. Still illegal and can get a fine tho - which is dumb. I think it’s dumb when people do it in unnecessarily. Some situations call for it, most don’t. If it was legal and everyone was used to it it would make things safer and better for riders - especially lane filtering. (Moving up to the front at red lights to take off ahead of cars and put safe distance between you and cars.)

Also, if this guy is posting this to YouTube I have no idea how he hasn’t been ID’d and arrested yet. Someone posted a vid of extreme speeds on Vancouver Island and cops tracked him down and nailed him/impounded his bike etc.
