I have a Ford Fiesta that is in the mechanics shop awaiting a "headlight harness" so it can pass inspection. They're waiting for this harness part. It's been three weeks. The service guy snaps at me because I call every two days asking if the car is ready for pick up. My husband wants to escalate this to AAA or to some other entity. Any suggestions?

Might try calling AAA and get their opinion about what to do ? Or. The better business bureau, usually the BBB. Only if their quality of work is poor . Or have messed you over somehow .

It depends on where you live. Supply chains in the US have been disrupted by the covid pandemic.

Some states in the US have consumer complaint departments. Google online something like: auto repair complaints.
