putting the cap back on a fouled nozzle like on toothpaste

who here hates it when some slob puts the cap back on the nozzle [whether it's toothpaste or ketchup or whatnot] without cleaning the nozzle off, resulting in a grungy cap and nozzle? it is especially bad when the cap won't twist smoothly on the nozzle of toothpaste, resulting in a grungy sticky stoved-up twisting action instead of a slick smooth twist-opening/closing.

I find it very annoying principally because I then have to clean it. Then there is the side irritation of when the lid chooses to weld itself to the container leaving you a fight to get it to open.

yes, all because of people who just don't care about the next user.

I think we can also apply this to those that don't clean the rim of little pots of hobby paint with screw lids. These are a complete expletive deleted to get open if the rim was left with paint on it!

yeh i forgot all about the hobby paints.

I don’t like it much, but I have learned to let it go. Easier to clean up that to stew in resentment.

Now, where is my gourmet ice cream?

Odd that someone has mentioned gourmet icecream. I just went to grab some from from the freezer and someone (probably same person who fouled the OP's toothpaste) left the lid off and now it's all icy and horrible. How disappointing!

^ That is much worse than leaving the cap off toothpaste.

That will make me scream! Premium ice cream is sacred!

for me, diet ice cream is sacred but that is a most foul act indeed to wreck the ice cream
