I wet my bed and used diapers until I was about 8-9 I think. My younger sister's friend made fun of me for it, until I menaced her of punching her in the face.

I was fully potty-trained by 24 months and I've never needed to use diapers or pull-ups since, not even at night.

That's a real pisser, and I did not mean to make that pun! I last wet the bed at age 6, but now at age 70, I get up
twice a night and try not to drink anything after 6 pm, which is hard in the summer.

I don't think I had that problem much but I started waking up in the middle of my sleep having to pee till I started a med for Overactive Bladder. It may of been due to side-effects of my antipsychotic but I tolerate that med really well & it helps so I didn't want to try changing it to find out.

yeah i have to wear diapers. i actually like them, mostly because i find it comforting tbh.. but its still not the easiest thing to live with. i also have day time wetting problems... i've tried meds like imipramine before and had bad side effects on them too. made me feel sick and dehydrated and gave me memory loss. it hurts to think about :( at least my family and friends know and dont care so i'm a little less stressed out about hiding stuff from them. i'm not as scared about people finding out i have bladder problems now as i was like, 3-4 years ago when it was getting worse

I did until I was about 10 or 11. Coincidentally or not, that was also about the time I stopped having petit mal seizures.

And in this hour's installment of "TMI Time", even though I was a late potty-trainee (like, 3-5) and had my fair share of "accidents" up into my teens (including in bed), I never had a persistent bed wetting "problem" which required treatment.

I still do it once in a blue moon.

I used to have lots of dreams in which I felt the need to relieve my bladder. One of two things happened:

1) Most of the time, the dream kept finding excuses so I couldn't use a toilet. For example, there wasn't one anywhere in sight, or there was, but there were people in there (usually including my parents) chatting enthusiastically who wouldn't leave so I could have some privacy. Once, I dreamed I was on a school trip, in a hotel, and the toilet had a door with a completely transparent glass pane, and there was a large corridor on the other side bustling with people walking all the time, so I waited and waited like an idiot for them to leave the place empty, which didn't happen before I woke up.

2) A few times, I managed to reach a secluded toilet (usually a big room full of fancy toilets coming in all shapes and colors), and even saw my urine stream, but, no matter how much I peed and peed, I never got any relief. I eventually got bored and resigned myself to my frustration.

This is how I learned that, when I pee in my dreams and do feel relieved, I've just drenched my bed. It's only happened two or three times so far, but I recognize it immediately and wake up to find I've actually wetted my bed :?

Yep, that seems to be the common reason for doing so after childhood. I'm just glad I don't poop in my dreams. 8O
