I grew up exploring things like this as this was my extended backyard if I could call it that? A short bicycle ride away for us as kids and an adventure.

What about you?

The most unusual thing in my locality is Disneyland, and it has been closed for several months.

Several times, especially when my grandkids are in town.

Nice.

I have never been, but there is not a lot of point as I am not too good at the type of rides they have in those places.

You are not missing much.  Every attraction is like a does of Viagra -- a two-hour wait for a ten-minute ride.

I'm pretty sure the most unusual thing in my locality is me.

Seriously, though, I'm in a pretty boring area. The most interesting places I had to explore as a kid were two small meadows that have since been built over.

Ringing Rocks County Park
Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Unusual & fascinating "field" of 10 foot high rock piles that make ringing sounds when struck.
Address: Upper Black Eddy, PA

Went years ago - a beautiful little hideaway but I couldn't enjoy myself for fear of falling and cracking my skull open.
A shame.

I have never been abroad to places like the USA. Not actually been abroad apart from Caldey Island and passing over into England etc.
