Have never been, would like to go, and wish i had gone instead of going to music college.
Even for the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and beaches.
I do hear that the drug gangs cause a lot of problems and raise crime.
Although i know someone who has been and said they didn't see much crime.
Perhaps most the crime is related to people who are involved and perhaps some theft from tourists.
I would have liked to have studied BJJ in Brazil during the 90s, before BJJ got super crazy big and big bucks.
But nevermind, getting a bit old for hard core training now. Perhaps still make it to Japan, but reflexes aren't
what they were, and us humans get more fragile the older we get.
Don't think i will be checking in Kyokushin Knockdown Karate's Hell dojo or Tokai Universities Judo Club this life time...
Shame, when i was young i would loved the hard training... But never mind...
Getting bit old for BJJ despite what the Gracie's say....
When you get old, you just ain't as powerful, nimble, fast or agile, and you heal a great deal slower...
nevermind....next life if there is one...
