You know there are many sockpuppets on this site. I can never understand the strong motivation and drive to deceive that fuels these individuals. They aim to sabotage and derail the good that is being done to improve things.
Justice will prevail!! Down with sock puppets and trolls!
Let's not hate them though, they are just seeking attention and are unhappy, lonely people who have nothing more meaningful to do with their lives. The thing with sock puppets and trolls is that even when they are in a positive environment they cannot help themselves and they sabotage the good things they find also. Yes sockpuppets are lost and confused souls and demand attention like naughty, neglected children, but they still deserve our empathy.
I didn't know what "clickbait" was either. What a corrupt, manipulative and frightening world this can be. I only learned what a sockpuppet is this year, sadly forums will never be the same for me. Nothing is what it seems to be.

MG's a great guy. I did wonder what this thread was all about but when I saw MG was the OP and thread placed in Random I knew all would be well and no moderation needed!

I don't really see a major problem.
The real issue is people becoming emotional as a result of baiting and fallacious or deliberately misleading posts.
Personally, I enjoy the exercise of pulling apart faulty thinking and resisting being ensnared in emotionalism.
