I love trains of all types. Locomotive trains are my favourite.

Oh, yes. Lifetime lover of trains, that's me. The one thing in this world that makes a lot noise, but never seems to bother me. :D 8)

I like steam locomotives. I am an old fan of Thomas the Tank Engine.

I like trains a lot. Mainly Thomas trains, though.

I love train whistles, which always sound like they're blowing out of the past, and train travel which, if you book a compartment, can be quite elegant and civilized. When on a train trip, I love pulling onto a siding in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. There's such a deep mysterious silence--almost a state of suspended animation-- suddenly shattered by another train rushing by seemingly inches away.

I'm an unapologetic railfan. I was introduced to Thomas the Tank Engine when I was 3, and I've never stopped learning about trains since. I'm currently building an HO scale layout modeled after the SP branch that used to run through a nearby town as it looked in 1975.

I like it too, but this one is my favorite. It's a D&RGW 5 Chime.

I was obsessed with trains, until I realized that it's fun to go faster than 200mph.
