The Bee Gees were so much more then uber disco superstars they are famous/infamous for. In their previous incarnation they were a pretty good progressive rock group and were hit makers just not at the Beatlesesq levels they would achieve with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

For the past couple of decades in the UK, the Bee Gees have probably been best remembered for the controversial outcome of their appearance on Clive Anderson's talk show in the late 1990s.





Never really thought of them as a progressive rock group pre-disco era. Must look into that...
