I have actually woken myself up from snoring.
My job has gotten crazy from the pandemic, and its caused us to have to carpool in 100 mile trips to get to worksites in the next state. Start driving at 4 am to get there at 6 am. Ergo all of us non drivers often nap.
Something about the angle of the car seat of the guys car who drives us does something to my breathing that causes me to make LOUD snores. I will actually hear my own buzz sawing and be startled to awakeness by it.
Dont know if I snore other times or not.
