hello, I recommend writing a list of the kind of things that you enjoy and excite you.
There are loads of options if you are free to do what you want with your time.
I would imagine even in your own home country, which has a fair variety of experiences available.
But if you are free to travel too, there are all sorts of ideas.
Not all have to cost a great deal of money, there are working holidays.
There are also some countries that are very cheap to travel to and live in.
For example. I have been to India a few times, which is a massive country that offers all sorts of adventures.
The second time I went to India, I travelled up and down India mostly on trains.
I met a few different people while there including some young woman.
One woman spent 6 months staying at an Sai Baba Ashram which cost her 25 rupee's for food / accommodation (which is about USD $0.50 per day.
I met another woman who spent most her time in a place called Rishikesh, which is a big yoga centre and home to the guru who the Beatles travelled to India to hang out with.
I myself, travelled from London, to Delhi, to the Golden Temple in Amritsa (Seik Temple), then to Dharmashala (where the Tibetan monks live in Exclie), back to Delhi on coach, then to Agra (Taj Mahal), back to Delhi, then to Varanasi (Holy city to Indians, big on Indian Traditional Music), trip to Sarnath (where the historical Buddha gave his first Sermon), back to Varanasi, then to Bodhi Gia (where the Buddha gained enlightenment), then back to Varanasi, then from Varanasi to Chennai on a 36 hour sleeper train, then from Chennai to Pondicherry, from Pondicherry to big Hippy peace and love community called Auroville, then from Auroville to Chennai, flew from Chennai to Mumbai, before flying back to London and then back home to the tiny Island that I live on.
Didn't cost that much, got hotels / food when i got to India.
On average, spent between 300 - 1000 rupees per day on hotel, and not that much on food.
Flight cost like $500 return. Spent 6 weeks over all.
Was 45 degree's celsius.
All really interesting and fun. And I only went to a tiny bit of what was on offer.
Things can be done on a shoestring budget.
One of my future plans is take a trip to Japan, to study martial arts and culture.
But that's just me.
As mentioned, if you are young enough, there are still loads of opportunities for working abroad
including some really cool projects that save lives etc.
But depends on what your into.
