I know people love Valentine’s Day in my town, but Valentine’s Day should get cancel, it’s a money making holiday, people are not working, people are losing their houses & rent in some apartment buildings have gone up.

I love Valentine's Day. It's that little ray of hope after the long dark month of January.

People always work during Valentine's day here unless it's during a weekend... did I miss something?

I have had a few cards given me as a child but only two or three since I was a teenager until now. The problem is I do not know who sent them as they forgot to put their name on them.

Valentine's Day doesn't have to cost money. People who choose to participate can do any number of kind gestures for their beloved, even if they can't see each other because of lockdown. It's the thought and the sentiment that counts.

It just reminds me of what I’ll never have, because of my own faulty brain :(

Valentine's Day is a public holiday where you are?

Live and let live I think.

It's only annoying for couples who miss it (not going to stereotype which member since if my parents are anything to go by anyone can forget! & it's usually just the busiest person who forgets!), people with unwanted but persistent admirers & people who hate being single.

I sometimes make a habit of buying myself something. Because I love myself. And treat my family to things too because I love them  I don't mind being single.

I’ve never liked it. I like it even less this year because I won’t be able to be with the man I’m truly in love with. I’ll probably have a date with someone I’m seeing currently, but I don’t love him so I don’t care about it.

I think it's a cute holiday, but I don't like the consumerism aspect of it. Whenever I had a partner during Valentine's Day I opted to either make something myself for them or spend time with them.

Perhaps Kitty means people are not working cuz of the pandemic & it's hard for people to afford vDay related things rite now.
