I don't know what it was about this whole weekend, but everyone seemed extra nice! But the nicest person was a lady (a multi-millionaire no less) right in town. Yesterday was the last day of this home show that was in town for two neighborhoods, one being like it's own little city. Well anyway, since I'm seriously considering custom home designing as a career, my mom thought it'd be nice to take me (that and get ideas on how to make our house look even nicer). Anyway, when we were at one of the houses, I was talking to this lady, whom was very surprised I knew so much about custom home designs at such a young age. As it turns out, she and her husband had purchased the land for the neighborhood in dreams of having it be made into it's own little town and it's been a *huge* success. So anyway, as we were talking, she was so impressed with what I knew and what I have to offer in the future, she said that I'm "a famous architect re-incarnated"! :D I've gotten some really nice compliments before, but this was just so sweet! It's definitely not something I hear everyday!

Thank you! I don't know what it was, but everyone just seemed a lot nicer this weekend compared to other recent ones. Must be all the nice weather we've been getting! 8)

The weather here in Houston is supposed to be nice this week, after a very wet month.

Strange thing is, it's supposed to be the hottest week of the year right now. And I know what that's like in Houston! I'm actually going back down there at the end of summer. But anyway, it's supposed to be sunny and in the low-to-mid 80's here in Indy this week. :)

Yeah in our day to day lives alot of average people tell us we are no good. But when someone who has achieve a lot more than average recognises you it can be a real boost.

Congratulations! You are obviously very knowledgeable about this subject and it's great that your abilities are being recognised!

It's good that you find comfort in this, I don't...but whatever.

For me
it feels good for all of one second
then I hit the autistic wall every damn time
'till its dust dresses me up in cinder like a ret*d mime
and that worldly and educated word of compliment you give equates to exactly that one second of me
yup, if you want to fill my shell up every time just fuel my emotions with praise and I cannot even speak through this rhyme

That's great, if you're good at it and determined enough you'll do well in picking such a career.

Why would using a metaphor be a complement? For some reason, it doesn't make sense to me.

Yep, I'm back! Anyway, I haven't completely finished school yet. I still have two or three more credits to go (having gone to three different high schools plus homeschooling twice). But I'm going to do it the same way as I did last semester: Go to school in the afternoons with a private tutor. 8)

Yeah, and is not just a compliment, because it must be true, I believe she also likes you as a person as well, when you talk to her so she probably felt very comfortable with your personality. :)
