Marijuana, men vs women

Why do more men smoke pot than women ?

Because generally, across the board, more men do things they're not supposed to do, that are illegal, that is unhealthy, and things that are dangerous..
Than women.

The bottom line is this about men..
Being a man..

I fight the strongest, meanest, angriest, most thickheaded human beings on the planet..

Im more likely to face an enemy who has a weapon, than women are.

I'm in the most danger, caused by the stupidest decisions humanly possible.

I argue with the stupidest and most dangerous human beings on the planet.

In the ghetto whenever I'm there, as a man, I'm in about the worst it gets..


And I play sports with the most athletic and physically capable human beings there is..

More men are mentally ill than women.
More men are emotionally ill than women.
More men have personality disorders than women.
More men have disciplinary problems than women.
More men are ret*d than women.


So why wouldn't more men do drugs than women ?

I don't know about that.. but I agree with most .

I highly doubt anyone in existence is in a worse position than me.. in my mind, possibly.. though highly doubtful. :( I feel like I upset people always but I just don't ask enough to know. I bury my head in the sand alot.. hmmm maybe that's why :scratch:

Not significantly - at least I couldn't find any study that would confirm that (except for "disciplinary problems", perhaps, hard to tell what you mean by that).

But the real thing is - when life is tough, substances become more appealing. Yes. That's true.

I don't think he's describing his personal behavior (except possibly for the marijuana, of which he may have had quit a bit when he posted this). Rather an archetype of men over geography and time. If he really behaved that way, he'd be in prison.

I was describing what I meant by the term that I used.

But the main risk of cannabis, is in places where its illegal you can get arrested/face legal penalties. You can't die from marijuana so its not that big of a risk.

Not sure its necessarily true that males are more likely to face an enemy with a weapon. If someone is going to threaten someone with a weapon I don't think they really care if that person is male or female.

Also that last bit seems a little off, I did take a psychology class before I decided I was done for good with college and certainly did not have that impression If anything mental illness/psychological problems would be more common in poor people who struggle more financially and can have less access to resources regardless of their sex.

It is true however that more male suicide attempts are successful than attempts by females. I guess women tend to try and overdose for suicide which leaves more time for getting medical attention, while men take more direct approaches like shooting them-self not sure why specifically.
