No service person should enter your home without wearing PPE (mask, gloves, glasses).
I keep a can of Lysol at the door to spray the doorknob when they enter / leave, and a big jug of hand sanitiser so I can clean up too. As soon as they leave I have a long shower and wash my clothes, just to be safe.
They need to wear glasses? What is PPE? I don’t remember if the apartment building owner & the plumber were those. But I bought gloves. And been keeping my distance. I wish I have Lysol.
Wearing glasses is to protect themselves from getting covid through their eyeballs should their be any covid in the air. It's far more important that they were a mask because that protects you from getting covid from them if they have it.
PPE = Personal Protective Equipment (Safety glasses, gloves of all kinds, masks/respirators, face shields, earplugs etc)
The best things you can do are: Keep distance, wear a mask, wash your hands & don't touch your face.
