I can't ride one myself. Don't have good coordination for such.

Do you mean those Razor scooter type things? I used to be the king of ramming one of those against my ankle while trying to ride it. lol

do you mean scooters or moped scooters
as in the mod trend of the 60s

Vespa / Lambretta etc.

Incidentally a UK company make retro moped scooters for a good price

I like kick scooters but I've actually never had one. I always wonder if only one leg gets a workout with them.

It helps if you can balance a bicycle , scooters are very close to being similar, to motorized scooters . But losptsa
Careful practice , in a empty parking lot before hand might be a good thing.

My husband's thinking of buying one from there but he says they don't make them themselves anymore and import them from China now.

A kick scooter? Had. Though, I would.

My first and last ride on any -- was borrowed -- did good with it. And yet I broke it. :lol:

Motor scooter, however?
I may own one someday. Been riding it for practically all my life.

a razor/kick scooter worked for me only on glass-smooth areas, any irregularities in the pavement and over the handlebars i'd go.
