All 3 of our cats were adopted, and thus we don't know their actual birth date, only approximate age.

Sure, we could have celebrated their adoption day... But no. We don't. We do pamper them a lot though.

If you would like to host a little party for your pet, by all means, it's a great idea! :thumleft:

I celebrate my pets birthdays, or at least their approximate birthdays. We celebrate all our larger pets on the same day, July 21st, because they were born close together and we don't know the actual days. Our rabbits first birthday also is in April/May and I'm excited to celebrate it.

We used to.

Then we adopted our stray.

And another stray.

Seems mean to now.

Now we celebrate Pet Day instead.

Pet Day is 11th of April.

Naia gets extra treats to eat and at least one thorough brushing on her presumed birthday.

I usually just give my pets some special treats, I did that for the last cat I had and will with my new one.

My dog gets a special treat from the pet bakery near us on his birthday. For my cat, we celebrate his “gotcha day” since we don’t know his real birthday.

Yep. They get an extra special meal and usually a new toy and nylabone type thing.

My friend had a birthday party for her dog last year. She made dog friendly cupcakes and bought party hats for the other dogs invited. I got cute pictures of my dogs in the party hats. It was lots of fun.

Also Fnord your cat is gorgeous

And HeroOfHyrule: what kind if rabbit do you have? I've been wanting to get a flemish giant. Do you find them easy to litter train etc?
