Why is that people have siblings either 20 to 30+ years younger than them? If so, what might the reasons?

Usually they're half-brothers or sisters, because in time the parents had split up and found other partners to have more children with. But not always.

Parents might have had an accident at very young age, then a planned kid or two at older age. Or planned kids at young age and an accident at older age. Or in their culture it's a thing to make as many kids as a couple can, starting in late teens and perhaps having the last ones at early forties.

Or maybe they have been told to name the child "Isaac".

When I first saw this thread I thought it was asking if people with much younger siblings are more likely to be autistic.
