How does someone mourn for three of their classmates (two they knew well and one they didn't know well.)?

Mourning does not need any justification. It needs going through.

What happened to these classmates?

Very tragic deaths. You don't neet do be super close to a person to feel the tragedy of these.

It doesn't matter. Like Magz said, mourning is mourning. People mourn in their own way.

I'd feel pretty bad if I had a friend commit suicide, and have another friend get shot, and have another friend die in an automobile accident---all at about the same time.

And I'm not the "mourning" type, really....

I lived in the Bronx from 1961 to 1964, and again in 1982 and 1990.

Out of 361 people from the Class of '75, only 189 of us are left.  I mourn a little bit every day, too.

Doing something in their memory might feel good. That could be donating to charity, placing some flowers, joining a community organization...

I hope your mourning is not overwhelming. I will speculate that your classmates would appreciate being remembered but would prefer not to cause you harm.

Okay. One of them is not in the class as me. A different class.
