Will they ever be able to send a probe to the Earth's core? I don't think so. The probe would burn up long before it reached the Earth's core.

Unlikely.
The pressure and temperature there are not what known technology could endure.

I've been wondering this lately. It's probably unlikely, but it'd be cool if they could eventually do that.

The Kola Superdeep Borehole on the Kola peninsula of Russia reached 12,262 metres (40,230 ft) and is the deepest penetration of the Earth's solid surface.  The project was officially terminated in 1995, due to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and the site has since been abandoned.

Intergalactic travel or time travel is more likely to happen than ever sending a probe to the Earth's core.

No. NASA type agencies arent going to do it. No spaceship-like probes. No massive drilling.

We have no choice, but to...just keep on looking for those "AS"'s over those arrows carved into the cave walls by Arnie Sacluson.

just imagine if we could only tap some of that energy down there. but on second thought perhaps we dare not, the earth to continue to carry us, needs its powerhouse to be unmolested by amateurs.

i highly doubt it......the extreme heat and pressure would be way too great i would think.
