That both hits home and is funny.
With "assistance" from a couple neurological, endocrine, mitochondrial, diseases plus some musculoskeletal decay problems I weigh about 50 lbs more than I did before these diseases manifested variously around 15 to 25 years ago.
I went from around 147 to 152 depending on the scale used at the time, to around 212.
Which is pathetically hilarious when people occasionally suggest that these diseases wouldn't bother me at all if I lost about 20 pounds.
Excuse me Einstein, but they bothered me when I weighed 40 pounds less.
And then the really pathetic fool was the one who said that I'd be cured if I got my weight to 20lbs less than when I got sick.
They didn't know my starting weight.
And didn't bother to ask.
After all, why should they ask when they walk right in already knowing all the answers.
Yeah, right, 5ft 11in tall and 130 pounds, I'd be a friggin famine victim, that's sure gonna be healthy!
