Some people make way too many snap judgments

That method of navigating the world, is not bad or wrong. Just oversimplified and unsophisticated. Not suitable for educated adults.
I know what you mean. I find it ironic that lots of things about Aspergers & about Borderline Personality Disorder claim that black & white thinking are symptoms when PLENTY of people in general have very black & white thinking. The so-called experts should start claiming that being hew-mon is a symptom of Aspergers.
I have Asperger's, and I think in a lot of absolutes. I try not to, but it's hard. I identify myself as an "all-or-nothing" type of guy.
Though, I do acknowledge everything between the lines. But I am not fond of cherry-picking, which I think is worse than black-and-white thinking.
I'll take absolutes over cherry-picking any day!
