I will often walk at cheetah pace. People have commented on this before.

Yes.

I'm a slow runner, but a fast and quiet walker.

I have tried to, but given how much damage the pandemic has done to the world, resources
have been very limited. However, my school will fully reopen this fall.

I can't not walk fast, my husbands always shouting at me or grabbing my hand to slow down when we go shopping. I used to be a city girl though so I think it's just a habit.

Me too. Kids on the playground could all run faster than I could when I was a kid.

But Ive only met one adult who can walk as fast I normally walk.

Twenty year olds, who could be my grandkids, cant keep up with my normal walking pace. Go figure.

I was called Flash sometimes in high-school because I was usually the 1st to get to my classes, unless it was homeroom because I had major problems waking up due to going to bed very late. I tend to either walk fast or walk slow. I tend to walk slow when I'm carrying heavy things, I'm tired, or I'm feeling bad because of the weather. I have a very low tolerance to humidity & heat & I also have a low exertion tolerance. I can get worn out fast & start sweating very easily even when the temp is bellow freezing & I'm in jeans & a short sleeve tShirt with a jacket on top & I have to unbutton the jacket & still feeling hot & sweaty, then I start walking very slow.

My girlfriend says that about me sometimes. She prefers if I'm in front of her when there's other people on the sidewalk cuz of anxiety but it can be hard for me to walk at her pace when we're not holding hands & I cant see her in front of me or next to me. I either walk too fast or too slow.

Yes, normally. It's why I take the longest route to work - because there are less roads to cross and the footpaths are wider so you can overtake slow walkers. Crossing roads, even just turnings, disrupts my walking pace because you've got to keep stopping and waiting for cars.

I zone out & daydream aLOT including when I'm walking & having to cross busy streets can be mentally tiring for me. Taking the longer route when walking or running is better exercise. I really need to start walking a lot more when the weather improves because I really need the exercise.

Precious lil "people" have the nerve to tell me how slowly my worthless corpse slithers on the ground

In 2017, my 35th counselor marked the box for "psychomotor retardation" on the insurance form

She said "it just means you move slowly"

Which is correct, but the only time she saw me move, was from the waiting room to the couch

She never told me she was timing my worthless corpse

She didn't have a chart of everyone else's times, and compare mines to theirs

The whole thing completely subjective

And I was paranoid she might phone the Department of Motor Vehicle and tell it to revoke my driver's license

Judgmental lil dipshits act like they are always in a hurry

Usually walking quickly doesn't accomplish enough to justify the effort

However, plenty of rodents much older and fatter than me appear to effortlessly walk much faster than my worthless corpse
