I feel like people WANT the crisis to continue
It does sound like an absurd thing to say what I mean is, is that governments in some countries and some people who are medical experts, scientists and medical advisers in government and so on seem to want to bring them negative news about the virus and always express almost unnecessary apocalyptic alarm and bring out over-top worst scenario figures even if a milder version of the disease emerges that has been shown cause less severe symptoms and less chances of hospitalisation and continue to put in place sometimes over-the-top stringent rules and keep their people locked up, allow their mental health to get worse and give them no sense of hope for example in places like Australia have done up until now. They say ''Well, we still have to be cautious because we don't what the next variant will be.'' But where does it stop, that we keep maintaining caution even when milder variants continue to emerge until its possibly eradicated in maybe hundreds of years time even though humans have hardly ever eradicated any viruses except with smallpox.
