So have you ever done pole dancing? Is it fun? Good exercise? Is it awkward? Do you think you would be an awkward pole dancer?
Ok no real question here - i just looked at the topic of another post and thought this would be a finny thread - call it performance art

I've seen LOTS of clips on Ridiculousness of pole dancing going wrong 
It seems to me like the only way anyone could be a good pole dancer without incurring any major injuries or damages would be if they had professional gymnastics training & have a masters degree in engineering to make sure that the pole is mounted right.

If dancing is awkward i can sure see pole dancing being more awkward. It is supposed to be a good work out though

Depends on your own balance, coordination, athleticism, flexibility, strength, stamina etc. I've seen strippers pole dancing that were total pros - looked like cirque du soleil performers or olympic athletes - totally shredded, and very impressive. I've also seen total amateurs pole dance at parties I've worked at - some take classes and are good, others just try it for a laugh and not so much but whatever.
